High blood pressure can lead to problems with your eyesight, excessive headaches, dizziness, stroke, and seizures. It’s always a good idea to get checked regularly and if you know that you suffer from high blood pressure to keep it under control with good nutrition. One easy way to do so is by juicing.

Here we’ve put together some of our favorite recipes that do good for your body and help lower your blood pressure. Not to mention, they’re delicious!

Healthy Veggie Juice

This juice has quite a bit of celery which lowers your blood pressure because of the high calcium content. It’s also high in potassium, magnesium to process the calcium, and fiber which have all been linked to lowering your blood pressure.

you can do this as a juice or a smoothie. If you choose the smoothie method, you get the fiber, if you juice, most of the fiber is left in the pulp.

  • 2 large carrots
  • 3 large stalks of celery
  • ½ cucumber
  • 2 small handfuls of parsley
  • ½ sweet green pepper
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 3 whole tomatoes

Flower Power

This juice is full of nutrient goodness like potassium, magnesium, and fiber, all of which have been linked to lowered blood pressure. It’s also super tasty so making it a daily habit isn’t hard at all.

  • 1 brussel sprout
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 whole oranges
  • ¼ of a pineapple
  • 5 small handfuls of spinach

Green Machine

You can thank the celery, kale, and ginger for all of the punch this juice will give to your high blood pressure. The taste comes from the crisp green apples and tart lemon. This juice will have lowered your blood pressure in no time at all.

  • 2 medium granny smith apples
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 thumb of ginger
  • 6 leaves of kale
  • ½ lemon

The Creamsicle

The sweet concoction is so good it’s hard to believe how healthy it is. High in calcium from the celery and full of anti-oxidants thanks to the pears, it’ll lower you’re blood pressure before you know it and you’ll love every second of it. The juice is definitely a habit you’ll enjoy having.

  • 2 medium apples
  • 3 large celery stalks
  • 1 peeled orange
  • 2 medium pears
  • 1 palm sized sweet potato

Prospector's Delight

This is a juice that you’ll be making again and again. Use a golden beet for this if you can get them, otherwise a normal beet can work just as well.

  • Golden beet root
  • 3 large carrots
  • 4 stalks of celery
  • 1/2 of a cucumber
  • 1/2 inch piece of ginger
  • 1 medium pear
